Naviate Reinforcement contains tools to create 3D-reinforcement in concrete structures. It also contain tools to create rebar schedules according to local standards and export rebar in BVBS-format or to Celsa Steel Services

Configure Reinforcement


is used to set the appearance of reinforcement symbols, text placement, endmarks and spreadlines.

Make it a habit to always run Configure Reinforcement BEFORE use of the other tools in your project.

In Choose Line Styles the names must be identical to existing linetypes in the current project.

There are possibilities to create customized templates for schedules exported to MS Excel.

Draw Top/Near Symbols

 

Creates 2D-symbols of top and near reinforcement, normally presented with continuous linetype. The symbols are always drawn in the current view.

 

As for most functions in CQTools, the function affects either all the rebars visible in current view or only the selected ones.

Only rebars visible within View Range will generate symbols.

The linetype used in this function is specified in Configure ReinforcementBasic Line.

When the symbols are created, the scale in current view is used to decide the size of the graphics. If the scale is changed afterwards, the function is needed to be run again to update the size. This is done to keep up the performance in Revit.

 The symbols are created in groups. If you need to edit the graphics, use edit group.

The symbols can be moved if needed to make the documentation more readable and clear. The connection to the 3D rebars is maintained, making it possible to update the symbols.

Creates 2D-symbols of bottom and far reinforcement. Symbols are presented with the linetype specified in Configure ReinforcementDashed Line,making it possible to use correct linetype according to local standards. The symbols are always drawn in the current view.

Flip Endmarks

Turns the direction of rebar symbols generated with CQTools S.

First, select the symbol you want to change.

If the symbol has several endmarks, remember you can always edit the group manually.

Delete Symbols

Delete all symbols in current view created by Draw symbols.

Update symbols after editing rebars.

Choose to update selected elements, all elements in view or all elements in the project.

This function exports rebar data to excel file.
You can create your own filters and filter by different parameters (eg. bar length, partition, schedule mark or rebar number)

Export to Q-armering

The export to Q-armering function exports rebar data to xml files. The data can be importet in Q-armering.
